Willard Fritz Redman entered into the arms of his Lord on Saturday, July 30th at Shannon Medical Center, at the age of 84 years. Services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 2nd at Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles. Internment will follow in the Rowena Protestant Cemetery.
Willard was born in Miles on April 7, 1932 to Fritz and Lydia Beckhusen Redman as the third child of five. He attended school in Winters and was a life-long Lutheran. He was a 50 plus year member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Miles.
Willard was an avid worker of all things agriculture. He lived in Miles for 53 years, and loved working the fields and developed a small business of shelling pecans by hand. He was preceded in death by his parents Fritz Willie and Lydia Elizabeth Beckhusen Redman, and two sisters, Bertha Raibourn and Irene Crane.
He is survived by brothers and wives - Daniel and LaVerne Redman and Richard and Linda Redman all of Miles. Family includes his nieces and nephews Janice Alexander (Gary) of Miles; Randy Redman (Debbie) of Grape Creek; Karen Hoelscher (John), of San Angelo; Billy "Butch" Raibourn of Kissimmee, Florida; Kathy Raibourn Maddox of Odessa; Phyllis Raibourn Priddy of May, TX; Mary Redman Bebo of Olympia, WA; Richard "Rick" Redman Jr. (Sherry) of Rowena, and Cory Redman (Jennifer) of Silverdale, WA. He has 16 great nieces and nephews and 14 great-great nephews and nieces.
Memorials can be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Miles or a charity of your choice.
