Ginger Anne Davis Lee, 80, of San Angelo, Texas passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.
She was born on January 1, 1936 to George Willis and Florene (Robbins) Gurley in Runnels County, Texas. After high school, she began a career as a bookkeeper. Ginger married Wendell Eugene Davis and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1995. In June of 2004, she married Jesse Franklin Lee and he preceded her in death in February of 2015. She was a faithful member of the College Hills Baptist Church in San Angelo.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands.
She is survived by her children, Tana Hofmann and husband, Wayne of Mason, TX, Kristi Kay Thomas of Corpus Christi, TX, and David Windell Davis and wife, Gail of Deer Park, TX; her grandchildren, Julie, Jamie, David, Dyllan, Tristan, Levi, and John; her great-grandchildren; Tyler, Tanner, Taylee, Nicky, Mikey, Logan, Emery, and Landon; her great-great-grandchild, Taytum; her sisters, Twila Gurley of Bandera, TX and Kay Rieken and husband, Jimmy of Ballinger; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, September 1 at College Hills Baptist Church, 2102 Johnson St., San Angelo, TX 76904. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 2 at College Hills Baptist Church in San Angelo with Rev. Lakan Mariano officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger.
