Jeanette Marie Batchelor Jones

Jeanette Marie Batchelor Jones, 71, of Ballinger passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ballinger.

She was born on April 24, 1945 in Runnels County, Texas to H.T. and Alice (Boatright) Batchelor. She married Howell Jones on December 18, 1964 in Ballinger. Jeanette worked for the Texas Department of Corrections for many years. She was a member of the 7th Street Baptist Church.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary.

She is survived by her husband, Howell of Ballinger; a brother, Raymond Batchelor of Grand Prairie, TX; a very special niece, Margie Schroeder of Waukesha, Wisconsin; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, September 8 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 9 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ferris Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Old Runnels Cemetery in Ballinger.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Ballinger Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or a favorite charity.
