Joseph “Joe” Daniel Binder, 57, of Ballinger passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his residence.
He was born October 10, 1958 in San Angelo, TX to Edmund and Dorine (Strakos) Binder. He worked for Dankworth Packing for 33 years as a meat smoker. He married Wanda Gamble on October 10, 1983 in Rowena, Texas.
Joe is preceded by his father Edmund Binder and granddaughter Jamie Palmer.
Joe is survived by his wife, Wanda; his daughters, Debbie Palmer and husband, Herb of Ballinger and Lisa Halfmann and husband, Dale of Ballinger; his son, Butch Wood and wife, Becky of Rowena; and his mother, Dorine. Also surviving are his grandchildren, J. H. Palmer and wife, Liz, Kendra and Jillian Halfmann, Morgann, Tanner, Hunter, and Cotton Wood; great-grandchildren, Kynlee and Lincoln Plamer, and Izabella Santiago; brothers, Ed Binder and wife, Karen, George Binder and wife, Yvonne, Charles Binder and wife, Lisa, and Allan Binder and wife Lorry; also sister Frances Werner and husband, Rick along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 25 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas.
