Dorothy Mclin Stennis

Dorothy McLin Stennis, 83, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born October 25, 1932 to Willie and Eula Mae (Jefferson) Hudson in Jefferson County, Alabama. On April 4, 2003, Dorothy married Edward Stennis in Ballinger. She worked as an office clerk for many years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ballinger.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Terrye Organ.

She is survived by her husband, Edward of Ballinger; grandchildren, Corey Calvin, Reggie Perry, and Willie Calvin, Jr.; step-daughter, Cynthia Brandon; step-grandsons, John McLin and Keith Austin; and her special caregiver, Nancy.

Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 30 at the First United Methodist Church in Ballinger with Rev. Gary Watson officiating. After the service, visitation for family and friends will be held in the fellowship hall of the church.
