Louise Lillian Colombo

Louise Lillian Colombo, 93, of Ballinger, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Ballinger Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 2, 1923 to William and Lillian (Weatherford) Ellis in Royal Oak, Michigan. Louise married Anthony Colombo on September 29, 1956. She worked as a secretary for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan for fifteen years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ballinger.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Lyvida Frickle; and brother, James Ellis.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Colombo of O’Fallan, IL, Lawerence Colombo of Spartanburg, S.C., and Phillip Colombo and wife, Genni of Ballinger; her grandsons, Anthony and Benjamin Colombo of Ballinger; and a brother, William Ellis of Corpus Christi, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Ballinger Carnegie Library or a favorite charity.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 29 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
