Rayford Patrick "Pat" Davis

Rayford Patrick “Pat” Davis of Ballinger passed away Monday, August 17, 2009 at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at age 75.

He was born December 2, 1933 in Mills County, Texas to William Rayford and Hazel (Black) Davis. He lived in the Goldthwaite/Star area for part of his life. He was a retired knife maker and had been a resident of Ballinger Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for several years.

Pat was preceded in death by his stepfather, Curtis Lowell Moseley, in 1987. His mother, Hazel (Davis) Moseley, had also lived at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehab and preceded him in death December 4, 2007.

He is survived by his nursing home “family” and a special friend, Lorene Allison.

A graveside service for Pat Davis will be conducted on Friday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Talpa Cemetery with David Williams officiating.
