Jerry Ralph Brown

Jerry Ralph Brown, born April 16, 1930, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2017. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Jerry Sue, and sons, Gene Brown, Greg Brown, Keith Brown and Tom Brown, step sons John Duff and Michael Duff, step daughters Sherrie Dunn and Christine Key, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father, Ralph Brown, his mother Margaret Brown and his twin brother Larry Brown.

Jerry Brown was born in St. Louis, Mo. Jerry served honorably for 4 years in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. He chose a career in the elevator industry and retired in 1997. He worked in all phases of the elevator business throughout his career from apprentice to master. Jerry will be remembered for being a kind and soft-spoken man who always had time to answer or solve a problem no matter how small. He always believed the best of people and enjoyed helping others. He was well loved and respected by all and he will be dearly missed by his loved ones and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.
