Frances Mueller

Mary Frances Mueller 79, of Ballinger passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at her home.

Born December 20, 1929 in Ballinger, Frances was the only child of W. J. and Frances (Egan) Curtis.

Frances was an active entrepreneur and successful businesswoman, as well as an excellent role model, mother, grandmother, and friend. She provided numerous scholarships to students attending University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio where she had been a student, and was a generous supporter of many other charities, causes, and projects of interest to her.

She was preceded in death by her son Mike in 1971 and her daughter-in-law Leslie in 2008.

She is survived by two sons, Fred Mueller of Wall, Texas and Patrick Mueller of McAllen, Texas, and daughter, Mary Smith of Ballinger. Her grandchildren include Jessica Mueller of San Angelo, Amanda Abright of Kilgore, Christopher Mueller of San Angelo, Ariel Mueller of Wall, Alex Mueller of Wall, Laura Hermesmeyer of Winters, Phillip McBee of Stephenville, and James McBee of Brownfield.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Garden of Memories, adjoining Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger.

Her passing saddens all who were close to her. She will be deeply missed.
