Estella R. Mota

Estella Ramos Mota, 71, of Ballinger, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Abilene, Texas.
She was born July 9, 1946 to Jose and Guadalupe (Lara) Ramos in Ballinger. Estella attended Ballinger High School and worked as a laborer for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ballinger. Estella was a real joyful person and loved everyone, especially, her son and family. Once she met her grandchildren, they were all she could talk about. She loved to sing to them in her nursing home room. She adored her son and daughter-in-law and always looked forward to seeing them, as well as, her family. She loved them dearly and always will. Estella loved her parents, sisters, brothers, all of their families, and her friends. She always helped people that were in need. Estella loved the three barrios people, especially her best friend Francis Rodriguez Patino. Thank you, Francis, for being there for her. Estella will be remembered as a good Christian lady. After ever meal, she always said “Thank you Lord”.
Estella is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son, Arnold Rene Mota and wife, Sandy of Austin, TX; one grandson and one granddaughter both of Austin, TX; two sisters, Emma Gonzales of San Angelo, TX and Mary Arredondo from Winters, TX; two brothers, Joe Ramos, Jr. of San Angelo and Ysaias Ramos of Ballinger; one aunt, Felisana Mata of San Angelo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Thursday at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ballinger. Burial will follow at the Latin American Cemetery.
