E. Wayne King

Eldon “Wayne” King, 86, of Ballinger, Texas passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Ballinger Memorial Hospital in Ballinger, Texas.
He was born April, 14, 1931, in Blanten, Texas, the seventh of eight boys to Carl E. and Lizzie (Wade) King. He married Elaine Rollwitz on December 18, 1951 in Big Lake, Texas. Wayne was a rancher and an operations manager in the oilfield for many years.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, six of his brothers, and his son-in-law, David Payne.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine of Ballinger; sons, Scott and wife, Debbie of Ballinger, Kelly and wife Pam, of Ballinger; Pat and wife Rachel, of Marble Falls; daughter, Brenda Payne of Abilene; his brother, Bill King of San Angelo; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5:00-6:30 pm at the Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2017 at 2: 00 pm and the First United Methodist Church, with Myron Halford officiating. Burial will be at Old Runnels Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Stan King, Aaron King, Alan King, Thomas Payne, Jon Bean, and Chris Sanders. Honorary Pallbearers are, Bob Van Husen, Bobbie Webb, Dale Duggan, Dwight Helms, Amber Elliott, Christi Youens, Mike Sanders, Kyle Tatum, and Gordon Hayes.
