Lillie Ann (Gully) Biedermann passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at her residence in Cedar Park. She would have been 94 in two days.
She was born November 13, 1915 in the Dry Ridge Community of Runnels County, Texas to Gustav A. and Bernadine Louise (Halfmann) Gully. Lillie married Walter J. Biedermann, a relationship that began in the second grade in Rowena, Texas and lasted 69 years until Walter’s death August 7, 2006. She was a devoted and loving wife and the most caring and nurturing of mothers. She was a meticulous homemaker who took care of the finances, house painting, and gardening.
Throughout her life, she and Walter traveled and camped in every state of the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. They visited many countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brothers, Arthur Gully, B. J. Gully, and Hilary Gully, a sister, Mary Frey, daughter-in-law Connie (Ziebell) Biedermann and granddaughter Bridget Biedermann.
Lillie is survived by son, David and wife Sheila (Scanio) and grandchildren: Audrey Welch and great-granddaughter Ashley; Denise and husband Thomas Suniga and great-grandchildren: Gaylann and husband Ryan Speegle along with Jacob Jones, Pearson, and Marshall; John and wife Kelly (Yarborough) and great-grandchildren: Kyle and Caden, along with Cash Yarborough; Paul and wife Kristi (Duffner) and great-grandchildren Mason and Avery; son Allen and grandchildren: Scott, Eric and great-grandchildren Megan and Evan, Troy, Alex, and Amber and great-grandson Chance; son Glenn and wife Betty (Ardis) and grandchildren: Tracie and husband Jeffrey Baldwin and great-grandson Camron, along with Shannon, and Grant; daughter, Patricia Biedermann; and daughter, Karen and husband Mark Dick and grandchildren: Jeremy, Lauren, and Travis; and sister, Jean Hoelscher.
Rosary will be recited Friday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger (908 N. 8th Street). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena. The Rite of Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
