Linda Darnell (Kresta) Huffman

Linda Kresta Huffman, 58, of Garden City, Texas died Friday, November 13, 2009 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. She was born May 13, 1951 in Ballinger, Texas to Henry (Jack) Jr. and Sylvia (Mueller) Kresta. Linda was a mail route contractor for the United States Postal Service for 16 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Garry Huffman of Garden City; sons, Gregory Huffman and wife, Rachel of Grape Creek and Nicholas Huffman and wife, Misty of Midland; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Thomas and husband Harold (Harry) of San Angelo and Tammy Howell and husband Stanley of Euless; brothers, Clyde Kresta and wife Rhonda and Timmy Kresta of Ballinger; and grandsons, Lee Ryan and Matthew Scott Huffman of Midland. Also surviving are nephews, Christopher Thomas and wife, Kindra, Clint Thomas, David Kresta, Dustin Kresta and wife Stephanie; nieces, Jessica Kresta Lemons and husband, Ross; great nephew, Hunter Kresta; great niece, Layla Thomas and a dear friend of 40 years, Rhonda Halfman.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Lange Funeral Home of Ballinger.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 16th at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Ballinger with the Rev. Joe Chamness officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Thomas, Clint Thomas, Dustin Kresta, David Kresta, Doug Taylor and Leroy Lancaster.
