Laverne Mcnaley

Laverne McNaley, 82, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Ballinger Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 30, 1927 in California. She was married May 4, 1945 in Ballinger to Clarence McNaley who preceded her in death April 4, 1979. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. McNaley is survived by her daughter, Barbara Odom of Ballinger; sons, Everett (Butch) McNaley of Eden, Bobby McNaley of Ballinger, Ronny McNaley and his wife, Karon of Ballinger; grandchildren, Jay Odom, Becky Kresta, Beverly McNaley, Robert McNaley, Melissa McNaley, and Doug Taylor; great-grandchildren, Dustin Kresta, Dylan McNaley, Skyler Odom, Shalyn Odom and R. J. Odom; great-great-grandchild, Hunter Wayne Kresta; and a special friend, Floye Sharp.

Visitation for family and friends was Monday, November 23 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Funeral services were Tuesday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with Cory Mullins officiating. Burial followed in Ballinger Evergreen Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Jay Odom, Dustin Kresta, Timmy Kresta, Calvin McCutchen, Doug Taylor, and Leroy Lancaster.
