Harold Raymond Wright

Harold Raymond Wright, 95, of Miles, Texas passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
He was born December 13, 1922 to Merideth and Mary (Futrell) Wright in Miles. He honorably served his country, with the Marine Corp, during World War II. On February 10, 1942, he married Johnnie Graves in Ballinger, Texas. Harold worked in the road maintenance department for Runnels County Precinct 4 for forty plus years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Miles.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife; his parents; brothers, Roy, Melburn, and Marshall Wright; and sisters, Edith Cope and Jessie Chancy.
He is survived by his children, Louise Walker of Ballinger, Dell Rouse of Abilene, TX, Jim Wright of Miles, and R. B. (Raymond) Wright and wife, Jennifer of Miles; his brother, John Wright of Miles; eleven grandchildren; his twenty-four great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday at Lange Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Miles. Burial will follow at the Miles Cemetery.
