James Lee Hague, 83, of Granbury passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at his residence.
He was born September 28, 1926 in Houston to William Samuel and Elizabeth Viola (Crain) Hague. During World War II he proudly served his country in the Navy. He and Mary Evelyn Johnson were married on September 27, 1947 in Ballinger. For several years he was employed as a rigging superintendent with Westhimer Rigging and Heavy Hauling in Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a grandson, Will Hague.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Evelyn, of Granbury; two sons, James W. (Bill) Hague, Sr. and Kenny Hague; a daughter, Marilee Tucker; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Wayne Johnson of Ballinger.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, December 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Old Runnels Cemetery near Ballinger.
Jimmy was deeply loved by family and friends and will be missed. The family suggests donations may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Association.
