Janie Turner Anderson

Janie (Turner) Anderson, 56, of Ballinger passed away April 7, 2010 at her residence.

Memorial services were Monday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Ballinger. Following the service a private family burial was held at Evergreen Cemetery. After the burial there was a visitation and food with family at 501 N. 12th Street (12th and Harrison).

Janie was born in Franklin, Louisiana to Bobby and Charlene (Carroll) Turner. She was a lifetime resident of Ballinger.

She is survived by her parents; two sons, Shayne Watkins and wife, Sheri, and Kenny Anderson; one daughter, Shanna Calaway and husband, Jody, all of Ballinger; two brothers, Lynn Turner and wife, Sandie, of Ballinger, Randy Turner and wife, Carol, of Christoval; one sister, Diana Lee of San Angelo. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and a very special aunt and uncle, Johnny and Betty Wiley of Louisiana. Janie was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

The family would like to give special thanks to Ballinger Home Health Care and Nurses Unlimited and a special thank you to Sam Keesee. You were a wonderful friend to her.
