Jorja Dawn Knight

Jorja Dawn Knight, infant daughter of Bobby and Whitney Knight of Ballinger, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 in San Antonio in the loving arms of her mother and father.

She was born early Sunday morning, June 20, 2010 in San Angelo at 23 weeks gestation but was transferred at 11:00 a.m. to Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio.

Jorja is survived by her parents; grandparents, James Power and Lisa Moore of San Angelo, George Knight and Liz Tischler, Lisa Kresta and Glen Richardson, and Josie and Ray Henry all of Ballinger; aunts and uncles, Andrea and Brian Green of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Heather and Jeremy Kalnbach of San Angelo, and David and Melissa Knight of Ballinger; great-grandparents, Sondra and Marvin Power, and Laverne Knight all of San Angelo. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, June 24 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ballinger House of Faith located on Highway 67 South with Barb Huston officiating. Burial will follow in Old Runnels Cemetery. Grandfathers will serve as pallbearers.
