Joyce Ann Covington

Joyce Ann Covington, 60, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Ballinger Evergreen Cemetery.

Joyce Ann was born September 16, 1949 to Albert B. and Pearlie (Moore) Wilborn, and during her younger years the family lived in Big Spring. She worked for several years at both the VA Hospital and the State Hospital in Big Spring. She retired and had lived in Ballinger for over ten years.

Her family included sisters, Ida Bell Wilborn and Joyce Marie Lister; and brothers, Albert Wilborn, Jr. and Jessie James Wilborn. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Ida Bell Wilborn.

She is survived by two sons, including William Covington, Jr. of Austin, and two daughters. She will be missed by many Ballinger friends.
