Robert R. Kotrlik

Robert R. Kotrlik, 55, of Ballinger passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 in San Angelo.

Robert was born May 19, 1955 in Ballinger to Edward Charles and Louise Elizabeth (Haechten) Kotrlik and was raised in Ballinger as part of a family of ten children. He was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church and had achieved 3rd and 4th Degrees in Knights of Columbus, Ballinger Council #10985. He was involved in management and retail party supplies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Kotrlik.

Robert is survived by sisters, Sharon Kotrlik of Bay City, Carolyn and Harold McKnight of San Angelo, and Alice Kotrlik and Britton Goldberg of Aurora Park, Colorado; brothers, John and Judy Kotrlik of Vancouver, Washington, Eddie and Barbara Kotrlik of Merkel, Joe and Judy Kotrlik of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dan Kotrlik and fiancée, Jackie Jenkins, of Duncanville, and Kenneth Kotrlik of Merkel. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ballinger with Father Hubert Wade officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rowena. Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers.
