Alice Luna Tucker

Alice Luna Tucker, 60, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019, at her home in Ballinger, Texas.

She was born July 8, 1959, to Thomas and Victoria (Vasquez) Luna in Ballinger, Texas.  Alice worked for Ballinger Housing Authority for ten years and then as an insurance claims adjuster for City Eye Care.

Kind, generous, and loving, Alice was a mother to everyone.  She was amazingly strong and independent.  She loved her family and friends through everything.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Victoria, and her brother, Heliodoro Lee Luna.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Christina Tucker Nieto and husband, Pedro Nieto, Jr., and Casidie Luna of Ballinger; son, Abel R. Luna Sr. and wife, Angie Luna, also of Ballinger; brothers, Mike Luna and Felix Luna of Ballinger, Raymundo Luna, and Ruben Luna and wife, Debbie Luna, all of San Angelo; and sister, Beatrice Luna of Ballinger.  Alice is also survived by her grandchildren, Terra Melody Nieto, Jeremiah Ray Luna, Shaianne Constance Luna, Nevaeh Cerae Luna, Abel Ray Luna, Jr., Amaya Victoria Luna, Nehemiah Angel Luna, and Dominic Isaiah Luna; numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation for Alice will be held on Tuesday, November 19, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home.  Her funeral service will be on Thursday, November 21, at 2:00 pm at the Lange Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
