Amos Roscoe Vaughn

Amos Roscoe Vaughn, 89, of Ballinger, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 in San Angelo.

He was born on September 11, 1930 in Runnels County to Jesse Roscoe and Thelma Esther (Morris) Vaughn. He married Billie Jo Cheek on July 3, 1975 in Wichita Falls. She preceded him in death in 2014.

He was also preceded by an infant son, Kenneth; 2 sisters, Lynn Highsmith and Jean Bateman and a brother Bill Vaughn.

Amos made his living driving and repairing big rigs and was a member of Glory Road Cowboy Church in Ballinger

Survivors include his children, daughters: Tammy Vaughn, Rhonda Vaughn, Valerie Vaughn, son Harvey Vaughn, step daughter Connie Harris, sisters: Beth Doty and Frances Tindale.

Visitation will be from 6 pm to 7 pm on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Lange Funeral Home.

Service will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the Lange Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at the Henson Cemetery in Red Springs,Texas.
