Andrea Rosa Rodriguez

Andrea Servantes Rodriguez, 86, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on Friday, February 14, 1936, to Concepcion (Nunez) and Jose Servantes, in Karnes City, Texas. Andrea married Serbero Zapata Rodriguez on February 23, 1960, in Karnes City, and they shared 40 years before his passing in 2000. Andrea was a homemaker, avid Bearcat Band Booster member, and gardener.  She especially loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Manuel Servantes, Fredrico Servantes, and Pedro Servantes; sister Juanita Villanueva.

Andrea is survived by daughters Sylvia Salazaar and husband Joe of Ballinger, Linda Rodriguez of Ballinger; sons Roger Rodriguez of Abilene, Texas, David Rodriguez and Alex Rodriguez of Ballinger, Danny Rodriguez of Chicago, Illinois, Jesse Rodriguez and wife Maria, and Daniel Rodriguez and wife Rosalinda of San Angelo; brothers Frank Servantes and Jimmy Servantes; sister Terecitas Barrios.

A Rosary will be held at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger, Texas, Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 6:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church of Ballinger, Texas with Father Timothy Hayter celebrating.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger.
