Ann Huckabee

Elizabeth Ann Huckabee, 79, of Miles, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Central Texas Nursing and Rehab in Ballinger, Texas.

Ann was born on June 21, 1941, to Paul and Leora (McShan) Richardson in San Antonio, Texas.  She graduated from high school and went on to attend Beauty School.   On June 22, 1962, at the First Methodist Church of Ballinger, she married the love of her life, Bobby Huckabee, and together they shared 58 beautiful years.  She was a member of the Eastern Star, she loved researching family heritage, sewing and crocheting, and with Bobby fostered many children through their beautiful family.  Above all, Ann loved her family.  Together Ann and Bobby were also members of the First United Methodist Church in Miles, Texas

She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Leora Richardson and her son Thomas Huckabee.

Ann is survived by her husband Bobby, her sons Robert Huckabee of Sealy and Richard Huckabee and wife Sherry of Miles, and her daughter Ida Booher of Ballinger.  She will also be dearly remembered by her 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Ann will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church of Miles, Texas with Pastor Gary Karschner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association.
