Arthur Lee Organ, Sr., 59, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024.
He was born on September 11, 1964, to Charles and Johnnie Mae (Clark) Organ, Sr. in Ballinger, Texas. Arthur was a tradesman who loved to work with his hands, he was known to always be tearing things apart to see how it works and putting it back together again. A lover of rottweilers and the Dallas Cowboys. Arthur found joy in some of the simpler pleasures in life. He also enjoyed bicycles with motors and constantly checked with his family to see if there were things he could help fix. Arthur graduated from Ballinger High School in May 1984. After graduation, he worked for Dankworth Packing and Rain-Seals Funeral Home in Ballinger. Later, he moved to Dallas where he worked for Third Eye Surveillance and Tech Dogs.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Charles, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Organ, sisters Linda Marshall and Charlene Organ, and his brother Henry “Dale” Clark. He is also preceded by his maternal grandparents Henry and Flossie Clark and his paternal grandparents Arthur Organ, Sr. and Clara Organ.
He is survived by his children, DeMontrae Hilburn, Fuschia Organ, Desran Cox, and Arthur Organ Jr. Arthur will also be dearly missed by his siblings- sisters Clara M. Organ, Bonita F. Shields of Ballinger, Stephanie Hale, Vina Clark of Brownwood, and Mary Ann Randolph, as well as his brother Charles Organ of Ballinger and 6 grandchildren. Arthur also leaves to mourn his death extended family from the Dallas area- Offie and Marie Wiseman, Jamie and Jamie Gibbs, Joe Sison, Mother Zeny Sison, and Larry (Bird) Johnson. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends will also miss Arthur.
A memorial service for Arthur will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 am Jesus Christ Church- 407 S. 7th Street in Ballinger, Texas with Rev. Mitchell A. Reed officiating.
