Barbara Ann Jones

Barbara Chick Jones went to be with the lord on December 19th, 2024 at the age of 69. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family.

She was born in Odessa, Tx to AR and Beulah Chick. Barbara graduated high school in Ballinger, Tx. Don and Barbara began their journey in life together on May 8, 1988. Barbara and her husband, Don have been proudly self employed by YourWay Tree Service in Ballinger, TX for over 30 years. Barbara enjoyed spending her free time country dancing, hunting, fishing, different kinds of water sports, dirt track racing, camping, and above all spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Dankworth and her father, AR Chick.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years. Brother Dewayne and his wife Tammy of Dublin,Tx; Daughter Talitha and husband Erine Frye of Ballinger, Tx; Step-daughter Chasity Keele and husband Paul of Comanche,Tx; Step-daughter Amanda Wojtek and husband Shane of Robert Lee; and Step-son Don Dewayne of Ballinger. Barbara will be dearly remembered by her grandchildren, Lacey and significant other Teegan, Grayson, Paige, Macey, and multiple great-granchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Barbara's funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at the Chapel of Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas with Lynn Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery also in Ballinger.
