Belinda Stewart

Belinda Ann Stewart, age 49, from Winters, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Community Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.  She was born on Sunday, June 27, 1971, to Lloyd Charles Jackson and Annie Lee (Hardin) Jackson.

Belinda and her husband, Melvin Gynn Stewart were married on November 9, 2019, in Winters, Texas.

Belinda served her community as a CNA for over 15 years and was employed at the Winters Nursing Home at the time of her passing.

She is preceded in death by her father, Llyod Charles Jackson, her mother, Annie Lee Hardin Owens, her step-father, Fritz Owens; her four brothers, Danny Jackson, Jimmie Jackson, Tony Ray Jackson, and Lynn Jackson; and her two sisters, Patricia Merrill, and Darlene Blair.

Belinda is survived by her husband, Melvin Stewart, of Winters, Texas; her two daughters, Scarlot Longoria, and Ashley Longoria of Sterling City, Texas; her step-daughter, Tanya Jewell of Leakey, Texas; two sisters, Crystal Jackson May of San Angelo, Texas, and Melissa Cape; and her brother AJ Jackson.  She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is also survived by her family at the Winters Nursing Home.

She will be missed by all who knew her.  She was a kind-hearted person who loved her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger, Texas, on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 2 pm.
