Billie Maxine Nance, 87, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Ballinger.
She was born March 26, 1933, in Grandbury, Texas, to Leroy and Bertha (Parker) Trimble. Billie married Denver Nance on August 16, 1972. The couple lived in Oregon for a brief time but returned to San Angelo in 1980. Denver preceded her in death on January 16, 2020.
Billie was the owner and operator of the retail store, Second Time Around, in San Angelo. She and Denver enjoyed RV’ing, square dancing, and playing dominoes.
Billie is survived by her son, Tommy Thompson and wife, Kathy, of Uvalde, and her daughter, Debbie Goetz and husband, Danny, of Millersview, Texas; granddaughter, Debra Stifflemire and husband, Kevin of Knippa, Texas; grandsons, Clay Elliott and wife, Tara of Cristoval, Texas, and Justin Elliott and wife, Amber of Ballinger, Texas, and Shawn Elliott of San Antonio, Texas. Also surviving are great-granddaughters, Kaleigh Elliott, Cailyn Elliott, Brydee Elliott, and Ashlyn Elliott; great-grandsons, Wade Johns and wife Hope, Trevor Stifflemire, and Jarrett Elliott; and great-great-grandchildren Jett Johns, and Reece Johns; step-grandchildren, Dan Holmes and wife Risa of Amarillo, Texas, Hannah Rives and Husband Don of Kennewick, Washington, and Matt Goetz of Portland, Oregon; step-great-grandchildren, Chase and Eden Holmes, and Colton Rives.
There will be a time of public viewing from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8, at Lange Funeral Home Chapel. A private family service will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
