Casimiro Jimenez

Casimiro Jimenez, 79, of Winters, Texas, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on Friday, March 15, 2024, at his home.

He was born on October 7, 1944, to Geronimo and Rosita (Moreno) Jimenez in Zapata, Texas.  On May 6, 1967, he married the love of his life Carolina Reyna and together they shared 56 years before his passing.  Casimiro worked as a line leader for Dry’s Manufacturing for 35 years.
Casimiro is preceded in death by his parents Geronimo and Rosita; his two brothers, Canuto Jimenez, and Teodoro Jimenez; and his two sisters, Alicia Romo and Manuela Lopez.

He is survived by his wife Carolina, his children Herlinda (Adolfo) Torres, Gilbert Jimenez, Aracely Jimenez, and his three sisters, Elia Reyna, Elvira Jimenez, and Rosamaria Jimenez.  He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Marty Torres, Gabriela Garcia, Gracie Reyes, Galijha Stambaugh, Gabriel Stambaugh; his three great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.

A rosary for Casimiro will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the chapel at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.  His Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mr. Carmel in Winters, Texas with Father Tom Barley celebrating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
