Bessie Charline “Sparky” Greggerson went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2024. She is Dancing in Heaven with our daddy, the love of her life.

Charline was born in Hattiesburg Mississippi, on December 19, 1934. She was married to Herbert Emil Greggerson, her soul mate, on September 9, 1961, in Ballinger, Texas.

She was a graduate of Ballinger High School. She was a student of Geology, a lover of Texas Native flowers, Texas history and loved the Big Bend area.

She was a loving wife, homemaker and nurturing loving mother. She served as comptroller for the Inn of the Mountain Gods and School Librarian in Ruidoso NM.

Charline was preceded in death, by her husband on April 2, 2017.

Survivors include daughter Leslie Diann Greggerson of Kerrville Texas and son Eric Steven Greggerson of Lake Dallas Texas. Grandchildren Chance Galvan of Lubbock Texas, Erika and Jared Gripe of Lake Dallas Texas, Payden Elvick of Kerrville Texas, Shelby Greggerson of Lake Dallas Texas and Megan Greggerson of Lake Dallas Texas and two great grandsons Trenton Gripe and Hunter Gripe of Lake Dallas Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger Texas, with Carol Ann Preston, Chaplin officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger. Grandsons Chance and Payden will be pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Peterson Hospice in Kerrville Texas.

The family wishes to extend our loving thanks and gratitude to Hettie McPhail her loving caregiver and companion, and to the Peterson Hospice Staff, Home Health and Palliative care for their help over the last few years.
