Connie Mc Carson

Connie Mc Carson Sr, 79, of Ballinger, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Connie was born on June 5, 1941, to Willie James Sr. and Irma Lucille (Sneed) Carson in Eola, Texas.   He married the love of his life Janice Nazy on July 29, 1960, in Runnels County.  He worked for over 13 years at Dry’s as a factory worker on the assembly line, and both himself and Janice were members of the Jesus Christ Church of Ballinger.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willie James Sr. and Irma Lucille Carson; his sisters JoAnn Maze, Alice Marie Carson, Irma Jewel Brown, Ora Lee Brown, Joyce Brown, Beauty McNally, Kathleen Washington, Alberta Wesley and; his brothers Tom Carson, and Willie James Carson Jr.

Connie is survived by his wife Janice; his sons Leon Carson of El Paso, Texas and James Carson of Ballinger, Texas, Connie Mc Carson Jr. and wife Rosemary of Ballinger, Danny Carson of Ballinger, and Jimmy Carson also of Ballinger; and his daughters Lola Mae Smalls of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Alice Marie Johnson and husband Joel Johnson of Edgewood, Maryland; 11 Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held for Connie on Saturday, June 27, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home, with his funeral service to follow on Sunday, June 28, at 2:00 pm at Jesus Christ Church in Ballinger, Texas with Pastor Theo Boone officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Alzheimer's organization of your choice, in Connie’s memory.  The family would especially like to thank Central Texas Nursing and Rehab for all they have done in caring for Connie these past few years.
