David "Kenneth" Prosise

David Kenneth Prosise, Sr., 73, of Ballinger, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

Kenneth was born on Wednesday, January 7, 1948, to Jefferson ‘Dave” Davis and Minnie Mae (McMillian) Prosise. in Brady, Texas.  On February 7, 2007.he married Linda (Sharp) Prosise, and they shared 14 years of love together. David worked for Pete and Dub Fields for 17 years as a ranch foreman in Bangs, Texas. He was a “Jack of all Trades”, and enjoyed watching sports, especially his beloved Texas Rangers. David liked to build things out of wood, and enjoyed being on his computer.  He was a graduate of Brookesmith High School and lived in Brown County most of his life.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Jefferson and Minnie Prosise, daughter-in-law, Melissa Prosise, and brother-in-law Bob Edmiston.

He is survived by his wife Linda Prosise of Ballinger, sons; David Prosise Jr. of Coleman, Nathan Prosise of Brownwood, Michael Prosise of Jacksonville, Florida, and sister, Connie Edmiston of Brady, Texas. Granddaughters: Bethany, Kendra, Candie, and Mackenzie, and grandsons; David Prosise III, Ray, Joshua, and Mason.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
