Deril Good

Deril Good, 81, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Shannon Medical Center.

He was born on Friday, October 6, 1939, to Rosser Claude and Louise (Martin) Good in Norton, Texas.   After graduating from high school he went on to marry the love of his life Nancy Lee Evans on April 18, 1959 in Norton, Texas.  Together they shared over 56 years before her passing on February 28, 2015.  He retired from El Paso Natural Gas after 32 years. Deril attended Victory Christian Center in San Angelo where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and deer hunting, and enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Deril is preceded in death by his parents Rosser and Louise Good and his beloved wife Nancy Lee.

He is survived by his two children Kevin Good and wife Karen of Midland, Texas, and Lisa Evans and her husband Gene of Monahans, Texas.  Deril is also survived by his grandchildren Sarah Partain and husband Barry of Georgetown, Texas, Amy DeLong and husband Bryan of New Braunfels, Texas, Scott Bryant and wife Courtney of Conway, Arkansas, and Daniel Casillas and wife Dianna of Ft. Stockton, Texas.  He will be greatly missed by his great-grandchildren Cruz Bryant, Maddisyn Casillas, and Riley Casillas.  Deril is also survived by his brother David Leon Good of El Paso, Texa, and brother-in-law Alan Evans and wife Kathy of Ballinger, Texas.

A visitation will be held at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.  The graveside service for Deril will follow on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 10:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas with Jerry Roach from Victory Christian Center officiating.
