Harold Dwain Horton, 51, of Ballinger, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020.
Dwain was born on November 19, 1968, to Harold Eugene and Clara Marie (Plumley) Horton in Martinez, California. He married Cristi Marburger on April 26, 2008, in Miles, Texas. Dwain was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ballinger as well. He loved to cook. Listen to music and sing (best Whistler I've ever met). He loved working outside any chance he got. Had a passion for the oil industry. Loved spending time with his family and friends. He was selfless and carefree. He could make anyone smile. But most of all he was an outstanding husband.
Dwain is survived by his parents Harold and Clara Horton; his wife Cristi; his children Hayley, Kaycee, Kimberly, Bradley, and Chelsea; and his grandsons Shawn Halfmann and Kyle Eimer.
A private service for the family will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Boles presiding. A live stream of Dwain’s service will be available to view from his obituary on Lange Funeral Home’s website at 2:00 pm that day.
