Elizabeth Ann Plumley Booth, 83, passed away at Shannon Medical Center on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Elizabeth was born on December 22, 1940, in Zephyr, Texas, to Albert and Bernice (Davee) Plumley. Elizabeth married Johnny Don Booth on March 30, 1986, in Midland, Texas. They shared 28 years before his passing in 2014. She worked as a nurse for over 25 years at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas, and at North Runnels Hospital in Winters, Texas for over 20 years. She was a devoted Christian and loved fishing.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sons, Kenneth Joe Rose, Jimmy Edward Rose, Jr., and Ivan Lee Rose; and her brothers, Carl and Virgil Plumley.
She is survived by her children, William John (Darlene) Rose, Amanda (Al) Hardy, Cathy (Peter) Avalos, Kevin (Teri) Rose, and Timmy (Christie) Rose. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Lange Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the New Life Refuge Church in Ballinger, Texas, with Kenneth Plumley officiating. Interment will follow at the Wilmeth Cemetery.
