Eva Ruth Keefer

Eva went to heaven on October 10, 2020, at the age of 55. Eva was born on October 23, 1964, to Harold & Clara Horton of Ballinger, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, James Keefer. Eva and James married on July 3, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her loving brother Harold Dwain Horton of Ballinger, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Allen, her son-in-law Brian Allen and her grandson Brian Allen Jr. of Ballinger, Texas; her parents Harold & Clara Horton; four brothers, Mack Horton and wife Trena of Stidham, Oklahoma, Albert Horton and wife Nichole of Ballinger, Texas, Anthony Horton of San Angelo, Texas, and Matthew Horton and wife Karla of Wall, Texas; two sisters, Mary Davis of Ballinger, Texas, and Tanya Wells and her husband Rusty of Ballinger, Texas; and one sister-in-law, Christi Horton of Ballinger, Texas.

Eva had a smile that would light up a room. She never had anything bad to say about anybody and loved her family with everything she had. Eva will truly be missed and loved by every member of her family and we are so happy she lived life to the fullest.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. for Eva on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Wilmeth Cemetery.
