Gary Paul Coleman

Gary Paul Coleman, 82, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

He was born on Wednesday, October 18, 1939, to Arthur and Bernice (Moore) Coleman in Rockport, New York.  After graduating from high school, he went on to become an auto mechanic, which he did for the majority of his life.  When he wasn’t working on cars he loved the great outdoors, which he enjoyed through RV camping and taking his dune buggy out, and tearing up the dunes of the California deserts.  Gary also served in the Coast Guard Reserves.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Bernice Coleman, his sister Donna, brother James, and prior wife Suzanne.

He is survived by his three boys, Terry Coleman and wife Rochelle of Ballinger, Texas, and Michael Coleman of California, and Gregory Coleman also of California.  Gary is also survived by his grandchildren Heidi, Leona, Raven, Richard, Cody, Penelope, Amy, Amber, Sheyenne, and Raelene.   He will be greatly missed as well by his great-grandchildren Nathan, Aubrey, Freya, and Dimitri.
