Gary Medrano, 55, passed away on December 15, 2019, at his home in Ballinger, Texas.
Gary was born on Saturday, February 14, 1964, in Ballinger, TX to Rudy De La Rosa and Fay (Pallanez) Medrano. He was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church and was a dedicated associate at Walmart for over 30 years. Gary was also a life-long Dallas Cowboys and Tiger Woods fan.
He is preceded in death by his father Rudy De La Rosa Medrano, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Gary is survived by his mother Fay; his children Kamryn and Kaiden; his brother Wayne and wife, Tracy, of San Angelo, brother Stephen of San Angelo, and sister Tina Medrano also of San Angelo. He is also survived by nieces Emily and Madison and nephews Lance, Zach, and Stephen. Gary is also survived by great-nephews Aiden, Christian, and Kannon. He will be remembered as well by many special friends and coworkers. He was especially a big influence in the lives of Kacey, Alexis, and Marcus.
A rosary will be said in Gary’s honor at the chapel at Lange Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at 6:00 pm. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 11:00 am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Yesu Mulakaleti presiding.
As he was a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan, in his honor, Dallas Cowboy’s clothing may be worn.
