Helen Inez Moseley, 87, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born December 24, 1930 to George ad Millie (Sanders) Brown in Clint, Texas. Helen attended Ballinger Schools from 1 st grade through 12 th grade. She married Ollie Moseley in 1972 and he passed away in October of 1983. She worked for Dry’s Manufacturing for 15 years and she also fostered children for 4 years. Helen opened up a registered daycare in her home in 1993 and continued until her retirement in 2008. She loved to crochet for her friends and nursing home aides.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ollie; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Steve Teague; and a brother, Bobby Ray Brown.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Blair of Lake Ivie; four grandchildren, Sheri Ann Johnson and husband, Mark of Hope, AR, James Kenneth Teague and wife, Ginger of Norman, OK, Brenda Baker of Hope, AR, and Eric Teague of Hope, AR; seven great-grandchildren, Cody and Kyle Johnson, Anna Harris, Danial and Bradley Baker, and Stephen and Tessa Teague; two great-great-grandchildren, Kayden and Bentley Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving sisters, Louise Martin of San Angelo, Hazel Denton of Dickinson, North Dakota, Marion Brown of Weatherford, Mary Powell of Lufkin, Linda Bradley of Aspermont, and Susan Farse of Midland; and a brother, Lyndon Brown of Ballinger.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 1 at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger.
