Herminia Mata

Herminia Mata, 75, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Born in Pixley, California in 1943 to Nicolas Deluna and Maria Inez Cuellar Deluna.  Her family included 1 brother and 1 sister, Severo Deluna and Mary Luisa Deluna.  She is survived by her sister Mary Luisa.

She married Simon Mata in 1957 and was blessed with five children; Thomas Mata, Erlinda Cardoza, Margarita Hill, Nicolas Mata and Maria Kudjo.

In addition to the many people she helped throughout the years she also considered Marilyn Tachibana and Clemente Mata Jr as her daughter and son. She also has numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews to which she dearly loved.

We ask that you remember Herminia by following her family values and forgiveness towards others.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.  Services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
