Howard Taylor Patton

Howard Taylor Patton, 76, formerly of Winters, passed away March 22, 2019 in San Antonio.

He was born December 14, 1942 to Elmer and Ether (Wood) Patton in Ballinger.  He married Peggy Sue Cole on May 22,1981 in Ft. Stockton, TX.  Howard worked for the Winters Independent School District, for seven years, as a school bus driver.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sue; his parents; and a sister, Juanda Murphy.

Howard is survived by his children, Todd Patton of San Antonio, Sam Patton of Lubbock, Janet Baker of Carson City, NV, and Judy Beaulieu of Marietta, GA; and his grandchildren, Randy Ham of Odessa, Sarah Deen of Carson City, NV, Samantha Foster of Hickory, NC, Jaymie Schreiner of North Richland Hills, TX,  Taylor Patton of Lubbock, and Chaney Patton of Wilmington, NC; brothers, Bobby Patton of Ballinger and Dwayne Patton of MIdland.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 13 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with Drew Leaver officiating.  Graveside services will follow at Old Runnels Cemetery.
