James Allen Condra, 57, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
He was born on August 15, 1964, to L.C. and Emma Louise (Lane) Condra, in Ballinger, Texas. After completing High School and attending a trade school for mechanics, he went on to be one of the most sought-after small engine mechanics in Runnels County, specializing in motorcycles. James was a man who loved to work with his hands, from woodworking to making models he did it all. He was a well-read man that also enjoyed fishing and hunting in the great outdoors, and could BBQ and cook “The Condra Way.”
James is preceded in death by his parents L.C. and Louise Condra, his brothers Charles and L.C. Condra, Jr, and his sister Durena Coleman.
He is survived by his sister Ruth Sherman and husband Kenneth of San Angelo, Texas, and his brother David Condra and wife Prescilla of Ballinger. James is also survived by 13 nieces and 8 nephews, many cousins, and many special friends and acquaintances.
A graveside service will be held for James on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger with Max Pratt officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Runnels County Meals on Wheels, or a favorite charity.
