Jane Wagoner

Jane Rita Wagoner, 70, of Winters, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019, at North Runnels Hospital in Winters.

Jane was born January 23, 1949, in Loup City, Nebraska to Joe and Sally Mae (Stenka) Baker.  She and Raymond “John” Wagoner were married September 5, 1998, in Grand Island, Nebraska.  The couple became ranchers in the Winters area and were members of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Delores Slobazewski.

Jane is survived by her husband, John, of Winters; sons, Rob Chambers of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Jeff Chambers of Mesa, Arizona, and David Chambers of Omaha, Nebraska; stepchildren, Sheila Copley, Jody DeJonge, Jeritt Wagoner, and Sam Wagoner.  Twenty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive, along with her brothers, Don, Larry and Rick Baker.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, August 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Winters.
