Janice Nazy, 76, of Ballinger, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
She was born on December 7, 1945, to Roy and Lola Mae (Hicklin) Nazy in Ballinger, Texas. Janice was a hardworking, family woman. She worked for Dry Manufacturing for almost 15 years before changing her career path and becoming a CNA. She married Connie Mc Carson Sr. on July 29, 1960, in Runnels County and he preceded her in death in June of 2020. Janice loved her family above everything and was the glue that held them all together. She wanted more than anything for her family to stick together through everything. Janice loved her dogs and two cats and had a passion for cooking in the kitchen. She made the best fried chicken, and was famous for her banana pudding. Janice was a member of the Jesus Christ Church in Ballinger, Texas.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Lola Mae Nazy, her brothers Willie Roberts and Preston Nazy, her sister Dorothy Nazy, her husband Connie Carson Sr., her grandson Michael Carson, and two infant children.
She is survived by her sons Leon, James, Connie Mc Carson, Jr., Danny, and Jimmy Carson, and daughters Lola Smalls and Alice Johnson. Janice is also survived by her grandchildren Nathan Carson, Anthony Carson, William Carson, Justin Carson, Janice Carson, Tina Carson, Leon Jr. Carson, Latisha Carson, Shaundrae Smalls, Raven Johnson, and Ashanti Johnson. She will also be greatly missed by her 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and her niece Dee Roberts.
A visitation for Janice will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the chapel at Lange Funeral Home. Her funeral service will follow on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10:00 am at Lange Funeral Home with Rev. Theodore Boone officiating. Her interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in Janice’s name.
The family wishes to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Ballinger Clinic and Hospital for their help and tender care during this difficult time.
