Jimmy Lee Carson

It is with a heavy heart that the Carson family announces the passing of Jimmy Lee Carson, 57, at his home in Ballinger, Texas, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

Jimmy was born on March 15, 1967, to Connie Mac and Janice (Nazy) Carson, Sr. in San Angelo, Texas. He attended Ballinger Independent School District and was a skilled employed laborer who later married Mary Patino and of that marriage was the birth of two handsome boys Michael and Nathan.

Jimmy commonly known as "Chiggi" by closest family and friends, had many passions, but as a hands-on kind of man, he took pride in customizing cars and vehicles from tinting windows, pin striping and custom rims. Jimmy loved motorcycles as well, especially his Triumph cruiser. His last project was a Dodge caravan. Jimmy also loved the great outdoors; nothing was better than fishing from the creek or river.

There was no doubt that Jimmy as a Momma's boy and loved his mother more than life itself, however he also had a tender spot in his heart for animals, specifically his canine companions "Cuddles, Sparky and Pedro".

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Connie Mac Carson, Sr. and Janice Nazy, his son, Michael Carson, and his grandmother, Lucille Harris.

He is survived by his sons Nathan Carson and Carlos Cavazos, his brothers Leon Carson, James Carson, Connie Mac Carson, Jr. (Rosemary), Danny Carson, and two sisters Lola Smalls (Jeff) and Alice Johnson (Joel).

A public visitation will be held for Jimmy on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 6:30 pm at Lange Funeral Home, his funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Chapel at Lange Funeral Home with Minister Dr. Vickie Cooper officiating. His interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas.
