Kaila D'Ann Blesing

January 29, 1961 — January 18, 2025

Ballinger

Kaila D'Ann Blesing, 63, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her most cherished loved ones at her beloved Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on January 29, 1961, to Kit and Louise (Holt) McDaniel, Jr. in Hale Center, Texas. Kaila married the love of her life, Rondle Blesing on September 20, 1980, in Hale Center, Texas. Together they shared 44 beautiful memory filled years.

Kaila was an incredible spouse and mother, who saw value in the gift of family and loved ones. She loved people in general, and her servant-driven heart led her to a life of caring for others not only as the Business Manager of the nursing home but in so many other capacities as well.

Kaila had what could only be described as "the best laugh ever." She was gifted with a generous heart where she poured that spirit into her work and those she met. She loved many things, but especially shopping for antiques and stained glass windows. Kaila also liked to sew and cross stitch, but most of all enjoyed watching her kids and grandchildren participate in sports and stock shows.

She will be dearly remembered by every life she touched through her tender love and care over the many years. She was a devoted member of the 9th Street Church of Christ.

Kaila is preceded in death by her parents Kit and Louise McDaniel, Jr., her sister Barbara McDaniel, and her in-laws Martin and Iwanda Blesing.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Rondle Blesing, her daughter Sarah Christian and husband Seth of Miles, her son David Blesing and wife Hanna of Sonora, and her sister Randa McDaniel. Kaila is also survived by her grandchildren Will and Whitney Christian and Kelbi Blesing.

A memorial service will be held for Kaila on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm at 9th Street Church of Christ in Ballinger, Texas with Max Pratt officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any children's home charity of choice.

The family wishes to extend sincerest thanks to the staff at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation, all of the ladies at the 9th Street Church of Christ, Hospice of Ballinger, and Vital Care Ambulance, especially Serena Crumby for their tender love and care for Kaila on her way home.
