Kenneth Glen Morris

July 13, 1950 — August 18, 2021

Kenneth Glen Morris, 71, of Millersview, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

He was born on July 13, 1950, to Jim Buck and Stella Alice (Foreman) Morris, in Edgewood, Texas.   Kenneth served honorably in the United States Armed Services in the Army Reserves.  After his military service, he went on to own Morris Faulks Tree Service from 1986 to 2015 in San Angelo, Texas.  Along with his tree business, he also served as a local fishing guide to many.  Kenneth loved to dance and play pool, and his television was always on the fishing channel.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Stella Morris, his brothers Haskell, J.W. and John Paul Morris, and his sisters Ella Joy Deverell, Maxine Polvado, Edna Sanders, and Bonnie Cole.  He is also preceded by his dog Cassie.

He is survived by his children, Brian Allen Morris and wife Melissa of Lake Ivy, and Amber Morris-Vaughn and husband Steven of Wills Point, Texas.  Kenneth is also survived by his grandchildren Devin 2 nd Lieutenant Boswell, Myranda Boswell, and Cody Morris.  He will be remembered by his sisters Dee Anderson and Yuleta Newman along with several cousins, nieces and nephews, and dear fishing buddies. He is also survived by his loving companion, his dog, Katy

A visitation for Kenneth will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Lange Funeral Home.  His graveside service will follow on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Concho Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ballinger Home Health and Hospice or the David Cowart Memorial Scholarship.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Ballinger Home Health and Hospice for the impeccable service to Kenneth and their family.
