Larry Joe Reagan, 75, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 after a sudden illness. 

He was born on August 3, 1949, to J.B., Jr. and Janice Reagan in Sabinal, Texas. Larry grew up in Uvalde County where he met the love of his life, Amy Tidwell. They married on February 13, 1971, in Uvalde. Larry had a strong christian faith, and was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, caring for and teaching others, both at work and at home. He embraced the role of dad and husband with love and dedication, making sure his girls learned many life skills and always knew how loved they were. He loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and spoiling his "Pup." He also enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his grandchildren, who have many fun memories working on projects with Papa.

He is preceded in death by his parents J.B., Jr and Janice Reagan. 

Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Amy Reagan, and his daughters, Lauri Ruckman and husband Tim of Hydro, OK and Kati Briley and husband Ronnie of Miles. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Reagan Briley and girlfriend Karlee Wallace, and Gracen, Micah and Layla Ruckman, and his sister, Peggy Caughman and husband Glynn of Mt. Juliet, TN, several nieces and nephews, and his Border Collie, "Pup."

The funeral service for Larry will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas, with Max Pratt officiating. His graveside service will be held the following day, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Leakey Floral Cemetery in Leakey, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cherokee Children's Home or Colorado Christian Services. 

The family wishes to thank the Physicians and Staff in ICU at Shannon Hospital and Hospice of San Angelo.
