Leslie Sahr

Leslie Dale Sahr, 53, of Bronte, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

He was born on Saturday, March 20, 1971, to Kenneth Wayne Sahr and Threassa Joy Sahr in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating from high school, Leslie proudly went on to work as an oilfield supervisor. He was an immensely hard worker and took pride in all of his career accomplishments. Leslie was proud to instill his strong work ethic into his children as well.

On July 31, 2004, he married Robin Roberts in a ceremony in San Angelo, Texas. Leslie made sure to let everyone know that Robin was the love of his life and he showed it through small and large acts every day. 

Leslie had many hobbies throughout the years including hunting, golfing, fishing, and playing craps at the casino whenever he had the opportunity.

Leslie was known for his infectious laugh, his giving nature, and his unwavering support of his friends and family. He loved spending time with his mom, helping her when he could, and always made sure to say “I love you, mother” as he walked out the door. 

Whether he was spending time at family gatherings, lending a hand to those in need, or supporting his children and grandchildren, Leslie enriched the lives of everyone around him. His sudden departure has left a void in the hearts of those who love him, but his legacy of love and generosity will forever live on.

Leslie is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Wayne Sahr and his brother Kendall Wesley Sahr. 

He is survived by his wife, Robin Roberts, his mother Threassa Joy Bowman, his son Clayton Sahr and wife Dyani, son Brady Wesson and wife Hannah, and daughter Jessi McWright and husband Stacy. Leslie will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Landyn, Colt, Camden, Wyatt, Baker, Hadlee, and Audie. 

A private memorial service will be held for Leslie at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family.
