Linda Haston-Ely

Linda Haston-Ely passed from this Earth Friday October 4 ^th .   She was preceded by her husband Michael Ely, and is survived by her daughters Christina Buchanan and Marsha Reitmire, her mother Ann Haston, father John Haston, brother David Haston, niece Siri Bright, nephews Jeremy Haston and Sean Haston, and their children.

She was born September 2, 1959 at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock, TX.  She attended San Angelo Central High School, and Angelo State University where she learned to be a teacher.

Linda taught at various places around West Texas, most recently in Kermit, where she taught English.  She loved being an educator more than almost anything else.

She has asked for her body to be cremated, and her ashes mixed with those of her husband, Mike.  There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.

The family, in the interest of Linda’s love of literature, has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carnegie Library of Ballinger, TX, or any library.
